About us

Welcome to the site of “DE ZWARTE SCHIJF”.

There are 3 groups on this site: GRAMOPHONES AND PHONOGRAPHS, 78 RPM RECORDS, and NEEDLES, PARTS AND MISCELLANEOUS.

Gramophones are described briefly, with a price. For further information or photos, please contact us.

The 78 rpm records group currently contains more than 17,000 records. This is how it works: you order one or more records, and you will then receive an email back listing the records that are in stock, with the correct price, as not all records in the database have an up-to-date price.

We would greatly appreciate it if you would then let us know whether or not you wish to buy the records and how you wish to pay. Records can of course always be collected in Tiel.

Payment can be made by transfer to GIRO account NL67INGB0003858056 or ABN-AMRO account NL13ABNA0464633818, both in the name of J. Notenboom.

You can also pay via PayPal; please add 4% to cover the costs. The PayPal account is: zwarteschijf@planet.nl

Shipping of records is possible. The cost within the Netherlands is 10 euros for 1 to 20 records.
We do our utmost to pack records well, but unfortunately cannot accept responsibility for breakage.

Needles, parts and miscellaneous: the price and any shipping costs are shown with every article. All articles in this group are in stock and can be ordered and paid for right away; for payment options see above.

We hope you will keep browsing and find something you like. Visiting us in Tiel is of course also possible, as this site shows only a small part of our stock.
